Step by step guide:

Place your tea towel onto the placemat (the fabric paint will seep through).

Place your stencil where you would like it to be. Tip: if your stencil is new, you could opt to take only a few parts out to give it a different effect (like the honeycomb example).

Place your stencil as flat as possible onto the tea towel. Hold it down with one hand and dab the fabric paint onto each part of the stencil with the sponge.

Gently but swiftly take the stencil off the tea towel.

Repeat the process.

Leave to dry fully (we would suggest waiting a day).

Then iron over the fabric paint with the iron on a medium to hot setting. Do not use any steam functions. Iron over the fabric paint by moving the iron around.

Leave the tea towel for 4 days, then  wash it.

Start using it!
