Activity 129: Paper Quilling Cards
Try using quilling to make a bright and beautiful card!
You Will Need:
Coloured paper for quilling.
Blank card and envelope.
Step by step guide:
Draw out your pattern. I made a letter A from a shape I had, but please don’t use a felt tip pen- this was only to show the lines clearer (it will show up through your quilling!).
Quilling is wrapping each paper around the toothpick really tight.
You can let go of the tightness when you take the paper off the toothpick, this will give it a broader shape in end result.
You can also choose to squeeze the shape on one side, which will give it a pointed shape.
Once you have made a few shapes you can start the puzzling of shapes together and then glue them on!
This craft takes up a lot of time but is a lovely thing to do. Pick up your pack at the Wednesday drop in!
