Activity 28: 'Focaccia' Bread Art

Below you will find the recipe for the Focaccia Bread art.

With the lack of flour still in some of the stores, I decided to make an alternative version with tortilla wraps. It still allows the same imagination with the veg to be used!

YOU WILL NEED:

  • 2 Tortilla Wraps

  • Vegetables - Different shapes and colours

  • Grated Cheese

  • Microwave / Frying Pan

WHAT TO DO:

Step 1.

Gather all your ingredients: 2 tortilla wraps, different shapes and colours of veg, some grated cheese and a microwave or frying pan.

Step 2.

Use 1 wrap as your ‘paper’ to be creative on.

Step 3.

Cut all your veg.

Step 4.

Place your veg in either a pattern or start creating a landscape with your veg onto the wrap.

Step 5.

Add the cheese to parts of the landscape as this will be your glue to hold the wraps together. Now place the other wrap on top of the decorated wrap.

Step 6.

Pop in the microwave for 20/30 seconds or dry fry the tortilla in the pan and enjoy!

If you make one of these, please send us a photo - we would love to see!
