Activity 43: Sweet Bouquet
Create your own bouquet of sweets this week to make someone smile!
These are great fun to make, and lovely to eat after you are done. Make yours unique to you by choosing to add your favourite sweets.
We have crafting packs made up with everything that you will need to create one of these. Have a look at our schedule to see current pack collection times.
YOU WILL NEED:
A selection of sweets (soft, so you can put them onto sticks).
Wooden cooking skewers / sticks
A wire / Pipe cleaner / ribbon
Plastic wrapping sheets.
WHAT TO DO:
Gather your materials. You will need long sticks, a selection of sweets, coloured plastic wrap, a wire and any other decorations you want to add.
Start to add your sweets to the end of each stick. Consider how you want each sweet to look when in your bouquet. Some, like stars for example, may look better on their side.
When you are happy with the amount that you have made, start to bunch them together in a way that looks nice.
Tie the sticks together at the mid point to hold them secure. You can use a wire, pipe cleaner or anything else you may have, like thread.
Put the sweet bouquet onto a sheet of coloured wrapping plastic and start to wrap it up, as you would when wrapping flowers.
Add another colour of wrapping plastic to the bouquet to add extra decoration.
This would make a lovely gift for someone!
