Making Multicoloured: New Crafting Activities

Our activities for this week are both rainbow inspired. Many of the photos that you send us show how colourful you make your crafts, so we were inspired!

The first tutorial for this week looks at how to incorporate rainbow colours into fabric based crafts. Activities include knitting a rainbow, creating felt spheres and a pattern for a cross stitch rainbow.

These should keep you busy for a while!

You can read the full tutorial here.

Our next activity combines both rainbow colours and our recurring nature theme.

Using chalk, pastels or pencils, you can create a beautiful and calming drawing which takes inspiration from our natural environment. You could use your walking time to find ideas for subjects and colour schemes to explore.

There are many different ways that you could try this and a number of uses - it would make a beautiful card to give to someone.

You will find the full tutorial here.

We would love to see a photo of anything that you create, so if you can - please send us one.

Stay safe, well and creative!
