Programme Update: 18th November 2020

Following the announcement from the Scottish Government yesterday, we are adjusting our programme for the next few weeks to ensure that we are following the official guidance and keeping you as safe as we can.

Update on Pack Collection

Because of the reintroduction of restrictions from Friday, we will be closing our pack collection service for the next few weeks.

Thank you to everyone who was able to pick up packs at our drop in this morning. We distributed a record 106 packs! Hopefully these will keep you busy over the next few weeks.

Once the restrictions are lifted, we will restart our collection times. Vanessa has been busy making up some wonderful Christmas themed packs for you to collect. I will keep you updated when we get confirmation that we can reopen.

If you were unable to collect packs today and you still need materials for upcoming online groups, please let me know before Friday 20th November and I will arrange a time for you to make a safe collection.

Online Classes

Our online programme will continue as scheduled. This includes our Craft Classes with Vanessa, Hand Sewing with Morag and Singing for Breathing and Wellbeing with Rachel.

From tomorrow (19th November) we will be starting a new online group, running from 1pm- 2pm every Thursday: Craft and Chat. This is a general crafting group where you can bring your own project to work on, make something from one of your collection packs or finish off something from another class. This is a very relaxed and informal group that you can attend when you want. It is a great place to craft away and enjoy the company of others.

Please contact Amy if you would like the zoom link for the Craft and Chat group or to sign up to any of our other online classes.

Post Packs

Our crafting post packs will continue to be sent out to you every week.

Each week we will look at a different theme and give you ideas for creative activities.

Next week, look out for a Scotland themed pack.

If you are not on our mailing list and would like to receive these, let us know.

Winter Window Project: Craft at Home

In December, we are going to put together a winter window display to show off our crafting projects. Once we reopen, we will arrange a time to collect any crafts which will then be added to the window. You will find some great ideas in our recent crafting packs.

It would be great to show your work – so if you can, please take part!

Please get in touch if you would like any further information.

Stay safe and creative.
