Review of the Last 19 Months: What Did We Do?

After 19 months, Gallery 966 is finally starting to feel a bit more normal. We are so glad to see you all again and hope that you are enjoying being back - crafting and chatting in person.

Though still limited in numbers, next week we will see the return to 2-hour class times for our groups, moving us one step closer to our goal of returning to our standard services at a safe and appropriate pace.

Increasing our in-person services has meant an end to our distance and adapted services which ran for over 18 months - much longer than we ever thought when originally planning for them. Over the last few weeks, we have been reviewing the range and engagement in these activities and will use what we have learned to plan going forward.

Here is a little overview of some of the main activities we delivered:

We hope to integrate some of these ideas into our standard services going forward. As a trial, those who attended our groups this week will have received an autumn crafting booklet full of ideas to do at home - an idea adapted from our mini weekly craft magazine service. We have a digital version of this, which can be downloaded here.

We also see opportunities for more online based activities and have ideas for crafting activity packs that can be taken home - you will find out more about this in a few months.

If you have any feedback about these, or would like to see us continue certain activities, please let us know.

We do have some places available in our small groups here at Gallery 966, so if you would like to join one of our in-person classes, get in touch.
